ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT
JUHL/SKAANING was tasked with designing and facilitating a structured annual cycle focused on both leadership development and strategic alignment.
We designed a programme with ongoing workshops and sparring sessions – ensuring that collaboration, values, and execution stayed in motion throughout the year.
“The process gives us direction and the space to have the important conversations. It has become clear how much they can achieve together – when the right framework and rhythm are in place.”
Krista Juhl
We work continuously with the leadership team to turn insights and intentions into action – not just as individual leaders, but as a unified leadership group.
🔹 The annual cycle creates rhythm, direction, and reflection
🔹 The leadership team develops a shared language and clearer role distribution
🔹 The international context is translated into local understanding and concrete practices
The programme is still ongoing, but we are already seeing how the shared structure strengthens collaboration and supports a clearer leadership culture.
Long-Term Development in a Structured Format
We’ve designed an annual cycle with regular development checkpoints, where we continuously check in and out with the leadership team – to maintain focus, direction, and reflection throughout the year.
The programme balances concrete tools and actions with dialogue and sparring, and includes:
🔹 Executive sparring and team development
🔹 Strategic workshops with a focus on direction and ownership
🔹 Discussions on accountability, communication, and role clarity
🔹 Follow-up and anchoring of decisions in day-to-day practice
Our approach is both structured and flexible: there’s a clear red thread – but also room to adapt to current needs and organisational changes along the way.
The leadership team has gained a shared foundation and stronger collaboration – supported by a clear structure that ensures progress and strategic focus.
The annual cycle has become a natural part of how they work together, and new initiatives are now more effectively anchored – because they happen within a shared flow.
Other companies can take away that development doesn’t have to come from big one-off initiatives – it can happen continuously when approached with structure and a focus on relationships.
